a shy light introduces us to Isabel, a young history teacher at a school in Barcelona during the years of Francoism in Spain. She is deeply in love with Carmen, the literature teacher. Unintentionally, but unable to avoid it, a love story is born between the two that seems to end when Carmen’s family, strongly conservative in their thinking, forces her to be admitted to a hospital for the mentally ill to heal from this love. which cannot be and is not well regarded.

Africa Alonso and Júlia Jové are the protagonists of a shy light, accompanied musically by Marta Pons and Andrea Puig Doria. In the first place, Africa Alonso makes an impressive transformation, starting from a lighter prism that ends in a true emotional frenzy. The feeling is present from the first moment, seeing this vital transformation in his gestures and in his emotion. Later, his vocal ability is exquisite, he has an incredible tonality, tuning absolutely every musical number and offering a stupendous artistic taste.. Thanks to this, he is able to shine from start to finish of the play, although it is important to note that where he shines the most is in the most difficult scenes for his character. It is also worth noting the proximity and that light with which he surrounds his character, which ends up infecting the rest of the play’s audience.
Later, Júlia Jové interprets from a commitment that is totally coherent with the personality of her character. Furthermore, by the way she adorns her Carmen, she takes those dark years back to Spain. by which, it gives that feeling of time gone by, but so naturally it doesn’t feel fake or fake.
